Place the Omni Station Put the station on a flat floor near electricity, and leave enough space in front so the robot can return easily. Connect the power cable to the station and plug it in. Xiaomi’s user guide says the robot should start from the Omni Station for mapping. Charge the robot first Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn it on, then place it on the station and align the charging contacts. Xiaomi recommends fully charging it before first use. Fill the clean water tank Remove the clean water tank from the station, fill it with clean water, then place it back. Do not add strong detergent unless the manual allows it. Install the mop pads Attach the mop pad holders/mop pads properly before using the mopping function. Connect to the app Download the Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app, add the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Pro, and connect it to Wi-Fi. Create the first map Start quick mapping from the app. Before mapping, remove small items from the floor, open room doors, and block unsafe areas. Xiaomi says not to follow, move, or interrupt the robot during mapping. Choose the cleaning mode From the app, select the mode you need: Vacuum only, Mop only, Vacuum & Mop, or Vacuum before Mop. Set suction and water level Choose the suction level depending on the dirt level. The X20 Pro is listed with suction up to 7000Pa and supports app control for cleaning settings. Start cleaning Press Start in the app or press the power button on the robot. The robot will clean automatically and return to the station when finished. Use carpet settings Enable carpet boost or carpet detection in the app if needed. Xiaomi notes that carpet boost must be enabled from the phone app. After cleaning The station can handle automatic dust collection, mop washing, and hot-air drying. Empty the dirty water tank, refill clean water, and replace the dust bag when needed.
