2. Add the ingredients correctly For smoothies and drinks, add liquid first, then soft ingredients, then powders or nut butter, and put ice/frozen fruit last. Cut ingredients into small pieces for better blending. Do not pass the MAX fill line. 3. Lock the container Place the jug, bowl, or cup on the motor base and rotate until it locks. Attach the correct blade and lid. The machine will not start if the parts are not locked correctly. 4. Choose the program Use the Auto-iQ program depending on your recipe: Blend: smoothies, sauces, drinks Crush: ice and frozen drinks Mix: batters and softer mixtures PowerMix: thick smoothie bowls, spreads, nut butters Puree: smooth sauces and dips Chop: vegetables, herbs, salsa Slice: slicing/grating with the food chute lid The Auto-iQ programs automatically pulse, pause, and blend to get the right result. 5. Use manual speed if needed You can also use manual control with 10 speed settings. Start low, then increase gradually. For dough or heavy mixtures, use low speed only. 6. For slicing and grating Install the slicing/grating disc inside the jug, attach the Food Chute Lid, put vegetables or cheese through the chute, and push gently with the 2-part pusher. Do not push food with your fingers. 7. After blending Wait until the blades stop completely. Remove the container, open the lid carefully, and pour or serve. Cleaning Unplug the machine. Wash the jug, cup, bowl, lids, and blades carefully by hand or in the dishwasher if allowed. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth only; do not put the motor base in water.
