Unfold the stand Open the two arms/legs of the stand and place it on a flat desk. Adjust the height and angle Choose the slot/level that gives you a comfortable screen position. The screen should be close to eye level to reduce neck bending. Lock both sides equally Make sure the left and right sides are set to the same level so the laptop does not tilt. Place the laptop on the stand Put the laptop gently on the stand. Make sure the bottom edge of the laptop is resting on the front support hooks. Check stability Before typing or moving your hands, lightly touch the laptop to make sure it is stable and not sliding. Use external keyboard/mouse if needed When the laptop is raised, typing directly on the laptop keyboard may feel uncomfortable; external keyboard and mouse are better for long work sessions. Similar adjustable stands note that typing on the laptop itself can be difficult when elevated. Fold after use Remove the laptop first, then fold the stand back and store it in your bag, drawer, or laptop case.
